LED Flashlight Breakthrough Get one of the newest mass marketed inventions. The LED flashlight is the next generation in flashlights. LED is an abbreviation for the term light emitting diode. The advances include being very drop proof, and delivering a steady long lived bright light. This means the LED bulbs won’t break if you drop the flashlight. There is no filament in the bulb to break or burn out. The LED bulbs use much less electricity then incandescent bulbs. This quality causes the batteries in the flashlight to last many times longer, than in a regular light. LED Flash lights come in various sizes. They produce a variety of brightness, depending on the number of led bulbs each contains. Some led flashlights have only one bulb. Other hand held lights I've seen have nine LED bulbs. To sum up, LED flash lights are very dependable. They will give out a bright steady light, while using minimal battery power.
