Korean Airlines a Pleasure to Fly
I've traveled on a variety of airlines. For a time overseas air travel was one of my passions. So I speak from experience. Korean Airlines (KAL) gives some of the best service and value in the air travel industry.
I’ve sampled United, Delta, Northwest, Cathay Pacific, Canadian Airlines, and Air Canada.
Korean Airlines comes out on top. By far the customer service offered is superior.
It begins with the flight attendants being as friendly, courteous, and helpful as humanly possible.
Being dressed in exquisitely beautiful, gowns adds to the pleasant atmosphere on the aircraft.
In comparison other more western style airlines, have the demeanour of cold legality, and, clinical professionalism. On long haul flights the airline will provide free hotel accommodation when scheduled flights fail to make smooth connections.
The airline provides free return shuttle bus service to the hotel. On one trip, the return bus ride to the airport was highlighted by a tour of an amethyst jewellery factory.
The tour was most interesting.
The women in the group really enjoyed browsing through the beautiful gem stones. The service at the airport is better than other airlines offer.
Some airlines abandon you on departing the aircraft.
Often the passenger must find his own way through an unknown airport, to the next departure gate.
On one of my trips, at Kimpo International airport, a group of KAL passengers was taken by staff to get a snack at the airlines expense.
After eating the group was escorted to the departure gate. When considering price, value, and quality of over all service, Korean Airlines comes out way ahead of the competition.
